The successful startup and sustained operation of facilities for production in oil and gas and the downstream process industries requires a skilled technical workforce. This presents a challenge for in regions where the industry is expanding rapidly or where experienced training or educational resources are lacking. This seminar will consider both the challenges and critical factors for success in developing technical training programs to effectively support industrial needs.
It will be of interest to people responsible for creating or supporting the technical training from both industry and education, in addition to members of government tasked with supporting the responsible development of industrial skills.
