The purpose of this workshop is to discuss innovative approaches, policies and initiatives through which more youth can be incorporated into the labour market in Tanzania. In addition to the discussion, the findings from qualitative and quantitative analysis of the fieldwork conducted in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Morogoro will be shared in order to identify constraints to job creation, productivity and access to employment opportunities and identify policy implications from the findings of the project.

The workshop will be followed by a high level regional conference in Rwanda where the four countries involved in the project will be presented. Contributions from this workshop will be incorporated and presented at the regional conference. This conference will be used as a platform for inspiring youth start-ups through sharing of ideas with prominent entrepreneur researchers and policy makers in the EAC region
