    From 21st - 23rd November 2016, the Economic and Social Research Foundation in collaboration with Getenergy events have organized a 2nd Getenergy Africa Meeting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This meeting is part of a series of events organized by Getenergy in supporting human capital development in the Oil and Gas Industries Globally.

    The meeting was officially opened on 22nd November,2016 at Mlimani City Conference Hall by Her Excellence Samia Suluhu Hassan, the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania bearing the theme "Developing Sustainable, Localized Oil & Gas Projects in Africa through Building Partnerships between the Government ,Industries, NGOs and the Education and Training Community".

    The meeting brought together the Government, Industries, Education & Training Institutions, NGOs and Development Agencies to support the Localization of Oil and Gas Project across Sub-Saharan Africa.
