Ileje District Officials Pay a Visit at ESRF.

    Ileje District dignitaries led by the Ileje District Commissioner Hon. Joseph Mkude paid a courtesy visit at the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF). In the list of officials were also; Hon. Janet Mbene (Ileje MP), Mr. Haji Mnasi (District Executive Director), Ms. Mary Marco (DAS), Mr. Ubatizo Songa (District Council Chairman), Ms. Najum Tekka (DLO), Mr. Joseph Mchome (District Land and Natural Resource Officer), Mr. Edger Mnyavanu (District Planning Officer) and Mr. Lucas Mtafya (The Ileje FM Radio Director) ESRF with the support from the Government of Tanzania and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has been working with the Ileje District Council in implementing two projects; the Capacity Development Result Based Monitoring and Auditing (CD-RBMA) and Pro Poor Economic Growth and Environmentally Sustainable Development Initiative (PEI) whereby a number of activities have been implemented, such as establishment of community radio (Ileje Community Radio) and Mobile Kilimo (M-KILIMO)
